Cancer Pain

About one-third of patients being treated for cancer have some type of pain, and each person’s pain is unique. It is important to know that cancer pain can be managed using both medications as well as procedures. Although cancer pain can be relieved, surveys have shown that this type of pain is often undertreated in many patients. With today's knowledge of cancer pain and the availability of pain-relieving therapies, no one should have to suffer from unrelieved pain.

Because each patient’s stage of disease and diagnosis differ, the physicians at Valley View Pain Center work to find the best combination of pain-controlling treatments so that our patients can experience the best possible quality of life.
